Darren Monsiegneur is a Leeds based counsellor and psychotherapist having trained in the Person-Centred approach. He obtained his Level 5 Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling qualification at Lewisham Counselling & Counsellor Training Associates.
He is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and is bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and works within the Professional Conduct Procedure.
Darren is committed to continued professional development, furthering his knowledge and skills as a counsellor and also receives monthly supervision of his work. This is to assure an effective and ethical practice.
In person, Darren is a friendly and considerate man. He has a love for gardening and had been a member of Kew Gardens for a number of years. He also likes music and plays both the guitar and ukulele. Darren also loved to travel when he can and has recently began doing so on his bicycle. He has a particular interest in the Buddhist and Islamic cultures of Central Asia after having travelled to Iran, Pakistan and India.
